As a Data Engineering intern at KaarTech I built a tested PySpark pipeline into a Power BI star schema and shipped Sentinel, a pipeline observability app running on a live Databricks workspace. At AIC-CIIC I built three backend systems in one month with Django, FastAPI and PostgreSQL.

I'm as interested in why a company makes the calls it does as I am in the systems behind them. What made a product win a market, what made a well-funded one lose it, how a team decides what to build next when the data is incomplete. Running a 250+ member club for two years is where this became concrete: budgets, sponsorships, recruitment, and coordinating design, technical, and outreach teams toward one outcome taught me most of what I know about organizations under real constraints. I look for that same intersection in the work itself, data and analytics platforms that exist because a business needed to see something clearly enough to decide.
